REEM Chapter 3: The new band

They came to the recording studio, when Justin Bieber and Usher attacked them.

"You kept Justin from meeting his beloved fangirls!" said Usher, who attacked them with his sword-microphone, after he grabbed Ringo's.

Suddenly, the four other boys there attacked Usher.

"Rhythm Rock!" said Elvis, who used his rhythm guitar.

"Guitar Power!" said Elton, who used his regular guitar.

"Bassa Nova!" said Michael, who used his bass guitar.

"Drum Beat Down!" said Prince, who used his drum.

Ringo grabbed his microphone from Justin and screamed "Vocal Adrenaline!"

Justin and Usher ran away.

"That was awesome, guys!" said Prince. "But being able to stop Justin isn't enough. We'll have to gather enough Justin Bieber albums to make a shield for the big fight at the end of December."

"Ugh!" said everyone.

"Of course, we'll have to beat Justin Bieber for his albums. We already have at least
two!"

"Awesome!"

"By the way, Nelson, what's the worst that could happen?" asked Ringo.

"Property damage. Justin can't kill anyone, but he can do an awful lot of damage. Speaking of which, last year some kids tried to write their names in the cement of the sidewalk," said Nelson.

"What happened?"

"They had to pay back the people making the sidewalk, plus they were suspended."

"Who were their names, anyway?"

"John Perry and Matt Baker."

"Oh."

"They almost went to jail due to the "zero tolerance" policy. Also, I heard from Stephanie that John's mom took his phone away because the principal told her about the
incident."
"Oh wow."

The next day, the boys went back to the recording studio.

Suddenly, Ringo noticed something that said "JUSTIN WAS HERE" outside the recording studio.

He screamed and told Nelson.

"Don't worry, I have a poster of Michael Jackson to cover that."

"Who do we have here?" asked Prince.

"Oh, these are my friends, Ringo, Elvis, Elton, and Michael. They're superpowered clones of famous rock stars."

"Well come on in! It's time to record Purple Rain!"

After the boys came in, Prince said "So, did Justin Bieber attack again?"

"Yeah," said Nelson.

"Oh wow. Did anyone get hurt?"

"Not really. It was more like one of those Saturday-morning-cartoon battles."

"Oh."

"Yeah. By the way, Dad, did you notice the "JUSTIN WAS HERE" on the outside of the recording studio?"

"Yes I did."

"Don't worry, I have a poster of Michael Jackson I can cover it with."

"That's my boy!"

Ringo went to sing, but was too shy to. Prince pulled him over to talk to him.

"Now Ringo, I know you're too scared to sing, but that's the only thing holding you back. If you're brave enough to fight Justin Bieber, you can sing your heart out, and it only takes about half-a-minute of courage."

"Really? Wow!" said Ringo.

"Got to pay your dues if you wanna sing the blues, and you know it don't come easy!" sang Ringo.

"You don't have to shout or leap about, you can even play them easy!"

"Great job, Ringo!" said Prince. "We just need a few more takes."

Ten more takes later, Justin Bieber came.

"Hey Justin Bieber, you have no right to be-" said Prince, who was immediately cut off.
Justin Bieber immediately grabbed several megaphones, then said "TESTING" so loudly that all the windows in Bellevue.

Elvis immediately screamed and ran.

Meanwhile, Prince taught Ringo to transform into his superpowered alter ego. His regular persona would be Richard Star, but he could transform into Ringo Starr with his cell phone.

"All you have to do is "call" your alter-ego. 555-0977!"

"Hey, that's my home phone!"

"Shhh. You don't want Justin sending you hate calls!"

"Okay."

"I'm Ringo Starr, the main leader and singer of REEM. I'm here to sing you away!" said Ringo as he transformed.

Despite getting a cool transformation sequence, Ringo was the only member of REEM to have one. Elton's real name was Reginald John, but the other two boys were just otherwise normal boys with superpowers and missions to stop evil pop stars, no transformation sequences or secret identities.

Suddenly, two people-Paul and Stephanie-ran into the studio.

Paul gave Ringo a special phone.

"Hey bro, I know you'll need it."

"That's nice, but I've already got a phone."

"Hey, that's my phone!" said Prince. "You can't borrow it!"

"Why are you yelling, Prince?"

"Sorry, I get very upset when JUSTIN BIEBER RUINS EVERYTHING!" he screamed.

"Yeah, I hate Justin, too."

After Ringo gave him back the phone, he gave it to his son Nelson, who used the special phone his brother gave him and shouted "REEM phone attack!"

Meanwhile, Ringo and Elton were attacking Justin with everything they had.

Suddenly, Prince found out Justin Bieber had a stash of superpowers from the Fangirls, the young girls who were Justin Bieber's fans and got him enough magic to take over the world.

He taught his son to transform into his superpowered alter ego, Prince Jr., with the same phone he used with Ringo.

"I'm Prince Jr., the new guy in REEM. It's too late to change the name now, but I can still help out the band!"
